Starbucks recently increased the price of five basic types of coffee by RMB 2 in twelve cities, including Tianjin, Dalian, Chongqing, and Chengdu. These five types of coffee include Latte, Vanilla Latte, Cappuccino, Mocca and Caramel Macchiato. Starbucks explained that the prices of these five types of coffee in the twelve cities were lower than in other cities and so the increase will bring them in line. This is Starbucks second price increase this year.
