A very enjoyable and cosy three bedroom old apartment in Changning district just outside the busy inner city areas. Its interior is decorated using a nice and simple layout as well as constraining a good selection of traditional fine wooden and modern furniture. One of the bedrooms includes its own study area while the master bedroom comes with a television set installed. Not to mention all of the main rooms contain an air conditioning system so that you can keep it cool during summer ad warm during winter.
The surrounding area is fairly local with far less other foreigners around than in the busier inner city districts. So the most of the nearby shops and restaurants will be for smaller scale Chinese goods rather than anything noticeably western.
travelling to other parts of the city is fairly easy using the metro at Shuicheng Rd on line 10, which can be used to get to the Xintiandi area where a large number of international offices are located or to Jiao tong University.
It would make a good place to live for either someone with a small family who works in the inner city (having a car will help) or for a group of students who intend to rent an apartment in Shanghai together while attending university.
